lasting scars
"Lasting Scars" by Tori Hartland is a interesting short story about a tragedy that happened when she was young. Explaining her story on how she was once bitten by a dog behind her house. She has scars from the stitches and surgery, she was made fun of because of these scars but had to learn how to deal with all the negativity. She decided to surround herself with people who made her feel good. These people she surrounded herself with made her feel better about it by saying "she has it easy. Others have it way worst." She states, "I still have an obsession with dogs." Thanks Tori for sharing your personal story and allowing me to understand the life of a person with an unwanted scar.
