It's Not Your Illness
"It's Not Your Illness"
In the interesting story, "It's Not Your Illness," by "Cara,” she talks about anorexia. Anorexia is an illness that basically takes over your life. In the story Cara's brother has anorexia and it affects the whole family, which is really sad. People with anorexia don't eat, or they don't like to eat.
I feel like people starve themselves because they aren't comfortable with their bodies, or people make fun of them because of their bodies. People shouldn't make mean comments or talk about someone based on how they look—or people shouldn't even be mean at all. I've learned a lot from this article and hope that everyone out there who has anorexia, stops starving themselves and focuses on the good things they have, not the bad.
