Teen Ink #1 - Cupidbaby
Cupidbaby wrote the short story of Greek mythology on how the Greeks believed the world was created. Starting with the character Chaos, which is represented as a human being, and so Chaos made other beings as well; etc. Which is similar to other myth story like the ones in our English unit.
The author main idea of rewriting this ancient story was to gain the audience of younger people. The author believes we are out of touch to ancient culture/literature, which I believe is somewhat true. At school we do not really go in depth with ancient literature, besides the honors English classes. Still I believe it’s a good idea that we took some time to study world culture earlier in the school year so we can reflect on the ways people wrote in ancient times.
