Feedback on "When School Attacks"
“When School Attacks” by Sophia Foppa is a narrative about the ups and downs of the blur of a regular school day. The author starts the piece off with her morning routine. She then goes on to describe each period as either good or bad. From the quirky writing style of this piece to the characterization of each class, I think this memoir is a relatable and accurate description of an average kid’s day.
I was nodding in agreement with every sentence in this story. Personally, I agree with the feelings of boredom and disorientation in class that Foppa described. I’m also the type of person that would describe lunch time as “my saving grace.” Overall, this piece describes a regular school day using many writing elements that reveals the author’s personality, which is why I think that it’s so great.
