"A Desperate Guy's Guide to Promposal" Feedback
“A Desperate Guy’s Guide to Promposal” by Joe Rodri is a riveting memoir about a who simply wants a prom date. Its expert description of the process of promposal as an awkward teenager captures readers and leaves them with something to ponder for hours.
Everyone can relate to this piece because everyone has been rejected at least once. The author brilliantly shows his emotions when he was denied and when he accepted the fact that “nothing is guaranteed.” This left me with a feeling connected to the piece after I read it. In addition, his telling of the typical stress about prom and relationships as a teenager really resonated with me. In the end, this piece perfectly describes the life of an anxious teenager when it comes time for prom, and entertained readers of all kinds.
