Kick Like a Girl
The article "Kick Like a Girl" by Sumona G. caught my attention because it is very inspiring to teen girls. The fact that Savannah was the kicker for her football team is inspiring because it proves that any girl can do whatever she wants. Everyone thinks that football teams were made for guys, but Savannah proved that they can be for girls, too. As I read the article, it made me think that she must have been very self confident because she didn't care what others thought about her being on the football team. Reading the article made me want to prove to others that I can do what I want just like she did. This article shows other girls that they don't have to listen to others when they say that they can't do something.
