A Farewell Text by Simone Nix
I found Simone Nix's memoir "A Farewell Text" very moving. Simone wrote about her friend, Piper, attemping suicide. When I read the words, "It reads: 'I'm done with everything. Goodbye,'" my eyes watered. I couldn't imagine how Simone felt reading that message from her best friend.

As I read further on, I saw the statement, "Piper is going to be fine." Those words relieved me from my worries. It is incredible that Simone's friend is still alive. Thank you, Simone for writing this memoir and informing the readers that it will be all right. I'm glad that your friend is okay.
