Feedback on Life Lessons From OCD
"Life Lessons From OCD" by "Erin," UT is about the hard struggles of having Obsessive - Compulsive Disorder, also known as OCD. The author gives an enthralling descirption of what it feels like to have OCD from a first hand experience. This piece gave me brilliant insight on the feelings and difficulties associated with having OCD.
"My life has been filled with paralyzing phobias, vivid worst - case scenarios, anxiety, and stress." I connected to this piece because in our generation and age, we tend to joke about things we consider "not a big deal." I've heard countless remarks from people saying "Oh, it's because I have OCD" as an excuse, when in reality, they don't. I didn't understand the daily struggles that people who have actual OCD go through. This piece opened my eyes on the seriousness of having this disorder. The author showed the readers the reality of OCD and that we should appreciate some of the things we take for granted.
