I found David’s article to be extremely moving. In the article, David goes into great detail about the rapper Joyner Lucas, who’s lyrics are known to be “spine-chilling”. And how he raps from a point a view duality. Unlike any other modern rappers, Lucas expresses his problems through his music. Especially in the album (508)-507-2207 were each track has a story of its own problems coping with life. Thank you David for showing that rap music isn’t just talking about drugs and violence but also what’s going on in today’s corrupt society.
