Forget the World...
“Forget the world and come with me,” He said, holding out His open hand. I started crying uncontrollably… Yet it comforted me to know that He knew what I was feeling. I didn’t have to explain it. I didn’t have to explain how sorry I was for not taking His hand sooner, or how amazed I was that He was there for me all along, or how unworthy I felt. I didn’t have to explain all the things in the world that left an ache in my soul so severe that I was ready to cry at one word. I didn’t have to explain what the ache felt like. He knew everything.
Trembling, I slowly placed my hand in His. The ache completely subsided.
