Drunk driving as a problem located within individuals. Drunk driving is illegal, but unsafe to operate an automobile if you are under the influence of alcohol. Drunk driving as a social issue how much longer will we be forced to. Endure the pain and atrocities due to the carelessness of drunk driving? Drunk driving has been a problem in the United State. Driving under the influence is one of the most dangerous situation you can put yourself or someone else into. Most of time, when people are under the influence of alcohol, they tend to drink they are indomitable such notions can result in fatal consequences, hence should be avoided.

              It’s no secret that driving under the influence can lead to some pretty serious results and penalties. Most likely, drinking and driving is very serious and dangerous problem. Many people every year are killed or injured because of drunk drivers, and most of the people that are killed are innocent bystanders.

Fist of all, your license could get suspension because you lose your license anywhere from a few months to a few years. This is sure to put a strain on your life when you can no longer get yourself from place to place on a daily basis. “This is how long you could lose your license after 10 days, a license may be suspended for six months to one year (law access).

Although, you could lose your license one the most common consequences for a drunk driving conviction is a license suspended you could lose your license anywhere. You cannot automatically get to work license because you need your license for work. “You May lose your license if you commit a serious offense, if you are caught speeding, if you incur all your demerit points or if you don’t pay your fines”.

However, your car insurance provider will also be notified of your drunk driving conviction and Yh could decide to raise your monthly rates as a result. Insurance providers even have the right to drop your courage due to drunk driving as well.

Although, you could your job because some employers will fire you on the spot if they find out about your drunk driving. Employers have the right to choose who works for their company and if they are not happy about you DUI charges they might decide to part way with you. If this happens and you start to look for work elsewhere potential employers will see the DUI conviction on your public record and might decide not to hire you. “You know that you drunk the best and you cannot drive yourself home the best decision you can make is get a person to drive you home so that no accident happen on your way home”.

Even though, losing your license could even result in the los of your job if you aren’t able to get to work regularly and on time . For those who are required to drive while on the job, the loss of your license will likely mean the loss of a job too.

Lastly, a drink driving conviction might strip you of professional license that lawyers, nurses, doctor, drivers, and more are required to have. With lout your license, you no longer be able to practice your profession.

What cause people to drive drunk? Although people make the decision to drive under the influence because of impaired judgement. But other alcoholic effects occur while driving. I can’t even imagine being an alcoholic or even a social binge drinker and living in a town state or state where I had to drive.

Mostly, people make changes before something terrible happens because fortunately I was wise enough to listen when someone told me to focus on what I could relate.

Some are good at drinking while driving. But it’s important to realize that the ability to hold your liquors. That’s because people who can dunk a lot without feelings drunk tend to drunk more than people with low alcohol tolerance.

However, if you know you can’t drunk don’t drink at all. Drunk driving should be stopped because it puts many people at risk including the driver, passengers and innocent people. Based on the alarming statistics, it is evident that drunk driving needs a permanent solution which includes strict jail terms for those involved in drinking while driving. Further research needs to be conducted to review the role of family members in promoting good moral among children and its impact an early up bringing.

There are two types of deterrence: individual and specific deterrence, and general deterrence. Individual or specific deterrence seeks to deter the offender from reoffending. General deterrence seeks to deter the public from criminal behavior through the punishment of offenders. People who support legal measures are calling for harsher laws and tougher punishments. Some of the proposed measures are, anyone convicted of drunk driving will be required to pay large fines, anyone convicted of drunk driving will be required to spend at least some time in jail or prison, and convicted drivers will require yellow license plates. They will also lose their license for one hold year.
