Into Darkness

You know there are times when people have to be reminded that others care and love them, and that there's more to life than what meets the eye. Just like a painting. Sure it's a picture, but there is meaning behind it. God makes sure that these things happen. Wether it's someone that's an influence in your life, or it's his scripture. Sometimes God's way of speaking to you or being there for you is by a person, or persons, even things like animals. Sometimes we question God, and that's not a bad thing. Asking questions is how we find truth. But sometimes truth can't be seen. That's were faith comes in, you just have to have faith or trust. It's hard sometimes, but without hope, there really isn't point to living a life. Without hope, there is nothing left to be in this world. The same can be said about love. With no love, there is nothing. If we didn't love our job, then we would not excel. If we did not love each other, then there would be no kids, no kids, no humanity. Love is something that will always be alive. You look at sin, it's all around us, but we still live on as christians. How? Hope. You know there will always be bad stuff out there. But here’s the amazing thing; light trumps the darkness, every time. You stick a candle into the dark, but you can’t stick the dark in the candle.

I wrote this peice a long time ago and I read it everytime I feel hopless. It always makes me feel better by showing me that I'm truly not alone. I know everybody says that. "You're not alone!", but it's actually true to me when I read this.
