Apple
The florescent lights beckon eager shoppers, all already laden with heaping shopping bags. Lime green iPod props hang like ornaments behind impossibly clean, floor-length display windows. Tots with great expectations dart about as their frustrated parents, elbow to elbow with like-minded others, ponder the purchase of the latest technology. Laptops power up before teenagers’ hopeful eyes. Festive, red shirted employees run every which way, portable cash registers clipped to sagging belt loops, trying to satisfy the most customers possible in the shortest amount of time. They need to move buyers out the door, fully loaded, for the next round of madness. Ah, the joy of the holidays.
