What the United States Flag Stands for
As the stars and stripes of the American flag flutter proudly in the breeze its colors of red, white, and blue means so much to you and me.
Stars. A symbol of the divine goals of which our soldiers aspire to reach. A twinkling bell ringing
in the distance behind a mountain covered in clouds. The shadows of our Founding Fathers watching over us. The unity of our country and all 50 states. A government influenced by the people's vote.
Stripes. A sense of desolation illustrating ways in which a country had been left blank. A treacherous task to get back on track. The adversity every man and woman must face in a time of war. The bloodshed spilled on the battlefield from our courageous soldiers willing to fight in order to protect it from dishonor and disgrace.
Within the dark gray clouds and the vigorous gusts of wind at the top of a flag pole sits the American flag - proudly displaying its stars and stripes on a background of red, white, and blue.
