The Silence
I sit here in silence because it’s all I can do. I don’t say anything because it’s not my place. I feel the tension in the room and not knowing what to say, so I keep my mouth shut. I look around the room and see people wanting peace but in this world you can’t. The sad truth comes into play when it comes to individuals bickering or auguring you can’t have peace with someone if they are not willing to honor your boundaries and the other way around. I could talk on and on about this and that but the real lesson that needs to be taught and learnt is that not all people all going to stick around. I feel like my brain is dying because I’m damned if I do and I’m damned if I don’t, no matter what I do I’m always in the wrong or doing something wrong. I’m only human after all.
