Adulthood!
You go through life, people telling you not to grow up too fast. You sigh and under your breathe you whisper yeah right. The truth is you shouldn’t grow up too fast. The faster you grow up the more responsibilities you gain. Teens try to grow up so fast now, and really I’m not ready to leave and go off into the real world. It scares me to think that in a couple years I’ll be on my own, fending for myself, working my bottom off to keep my head above water. On top of that college and thinking about a family! I want to stay a teen just a little bit longer! Am I the only one who feels this way? I see all these other kids and they try to act so much older then they really are. They do things that only adults should be doing and it scares me! I just want time to stand still and I want to enjoy my teen years. Not worrying about adulthood.
