if you really knew me
If you really knew me
If you really knew me you would know that I haven’t had the perfect life…but you don’t really know me.
If you really knew me you would know that I have self-harmed, if you really knew me you would know that I kill myself everyday over my reflection in the mirror…I feel empty most of the time but you would never know.
You don’t know that I sometimes force myself to throw up or that I have been humiliated in every way possible, you don’t know me, you only know what I want to show.
90 pound girls come to school and complain that their fat, if they are fat then I must be a cow! If you really knew me you would know that I live in constant fear that my older sister will just cut a little deeper this time.
But you don’t, no one knows me.
I’m just the happy-go-lucky girl who is always smiling.
If you really knew me you would know that I am not the one to complain, but because of this, you don’t really know me.
