Social Network Debate
Do we share too much on social networks? In my opinion I think yes, we do share too much. Sure, at times it can be useful to people who have family too far away from home and rely on them too keep in touch with loved ones, but too many people take advantage of that, for example you were on a social network and you get a friend request from a person whom you don’t know would you accept it or ignore it? See this is the problem a lot of people don’t know that if you accept a friend request from somebody you don’t know they can get into your personal information plus their friend and their friends friend can see it. Also teens will start talking to that person and he or she will lie about there age. So to prevent this from happening to you don’t talk or accept a friend request from a person you don’t know.
Well a lot of the times teens don’t think before the post thins and end up getting bullied or stalked because they’ll tell people how their alone and bored and a stranger could track down where your at and things can get really bad and dangerous, its like leaving your front door open to the world because they don’t think before they post.
Other opponents may argue with my opinion and say they can do what the want that its their life or they can do whatever on their page but im here to tell you thats not such a bright idea because a majority of teens just post random things to try to see who can get the most likes and put inappropriate pictures of themselves and not know the danger their causing to themselves. mostly people make a bad decision and spread rumors about other people which can lead to them getting bullied and thats dangerous to them too. Every day people get bullied or stalked because they don’t think when they post or talk to people they don’t know so if you want to prevent this from happening to you think before you share.
