Getting into a college is not an easy task. Certain class requirements must be met during a high school career that many people are not informed about. When looking at a college be aware that there are requirements that must be met. Money is one of the biggest reasons why people do not go to school; look at scholarships, look at classes that are available and that will give the best benefit , look at what student life on campus is like.
College can become expensive, after enrollment prices can range from $6,927 on in state tuition, and out of state tuition fees are $14,961(“Wichita State University”). When looking at colleges look more at the ones in-state. As years pass by college becomes more of a money issue. As college gets expensive the amount of scholarships are available everywhere, in fact many scholarships go unnoticed. Financial Aid is another way of lowering the coast of school.
Education is what matters most; look into what the college has to offer. At WSU there are five top majors that are mainly looked at such as: business, health professions, education, engineering, and social sciences ("Wichita State University”). With business WSU has a variety of classes that will benefit one. Nursing at WSU is the second best school in the state of Kansas. Wichita State offers several undergraduate and graduate degrees to help meet this need. Our quality programs exceed national pass rates on the Registered Nurse national exam and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse professional certification exams (“School of Nursing”). All colleges have a variety of majors, each and every one of them can benefit in various ways.
Campus life can be an exciting one, yet a dangerous one too. Moving to a completely different location can cause panic in both a student and their parents. WSU offers campus safety and security services such as: 24-hour foot and vehicle patrols, late night transport/escort service, 24-hour emergency telephones, lighted pathways/sidewalks, student patrols, and controlled dormitory access (key, security card, etc.). Wichita State University also has a program for students with physical disabilities. There is a wide amount of helping tools such as note taking services, transportation, tape recorder, special housing, tutor, reader services, braille services, and talking books ("Wichita State University").
WSU has a wide amount of majors and classes to choose from. All the education one needs is at WSU. The cost of college is lower than most schools. Security that is needed will be provided, a student will be protected. Wichita State University is the school to go to.
