Two Burning Flames
They are the ones who lit me. I am the one with a choice to light others. Two burning flames with embers below and thick smoke above. Two who were ignited on a dark planet. Two who survived the stomping and smothering. All can see them, but only those who seek HIM will catch fire.
Their GOD is not secret. They spread HIS love throughout the shadows. They flare up and down and cling to the twigs with their flaming hands and fight to survive the darkness. This is how they shine.
Let one astray from the tinder beneath, it will be swallowed by the ashes, already burnt out. “SHINE, SHINE, SHINE,” they say when I wander. They believe.
When I am too dim and too dull to keep shining, when I am just an ember, smoldering amongst the ashes; it is the flames I look up to. When the light of this world is no more than a haze. Two who sparked despite the grey. Two who grew into a fiery blaze. Two who grow, for days and days.
