Focus: Grandparents: My Grandpa MAG
Ever since I was only two and learning how to ride ahorse I've looked to my grandpa for guidance. In my eyes he will alwaysbe wonderful. My grandpa was a strong-willed man with an unselfishheart. He was charitable to a fault. Once he brought home a homeless guymany called the King of the Hobos. He made him a sandwich, then drew hima bath in Grandma's clean tub. He took off the comforter and sheets fromthe bed and made the guy a bed on the davenport. Grandpa gave thishomeless person the jacket right off his back. Grandpa was a giver; noone could ever accuse him of being selfish.
Grandpa also had aninnovative side. He was constantly building things like flytraps, rockers and stick ponies. He always had a smile and a new joke to getyou rolling on the ground in laughter. He kept candy hidden in a coffeecan in the closet. He would say, "Now, don't tell Grandma, shedoesn't know Grandpa keeps it hidden in the closet," which she did,and Grandpa knew that it was just to make things more fun. I loved mygrandpa so much, and so did everyone who met him. He passed away lastSeptember, but his spirit will always be in my heart.
