Educator of the Year Ms. Danay
Educator of the Year Ms. Danay
During the middle of my freshman year, I walk into my Graphic Design class to see a new face—one I’d never seen before. When I walked in, she looked at me with the biggest smile. When the class started, she introduced herself. This was her first time at Arrowhead Union High School. I could tell she was a little nervous.
As the days went by, she opened up to us and made us feel welcome. Every time I walked in she would greet us with a smile and even when we would leave she would have the same energy.
When I was going into my sophomore year Ms. Danay made an impact on my interest in computers, so I signed up for another class called Computer Essentials. When that class came around I didn’t know how I felt about it. I walked in and saw her looking at me with that same smile. I could feel that same positive energy she always gave off.
Every day I would walk into that class, she would greet me with the best hello and made me feel welcomed. Ms. Danay would always be straight up with me she would never lie to you she would always be there to help you, even if it took time out of her day or what she was doing.
The first semester of junior year I didn’t have classes with Ms. Danay but in the first week of junior year I saw her in the hallway and the first thing she did was say “hey, Cole, how have you been?” She made me smile and made me happy.
I now have a class with her and I am super excited for Web Design.com and what new things she is going to teach me and all the stories she has to tell me else. Ms. Danay made an impact on the choices I’ve made in high school and out of high school.
Thank you, Ms. Danay, for always being there and supporting me through these years.
