My best friend. (:
My best friend in 7th grade.
My first year of junior high, is going pretty good, but it’s not going how I was expecting. The first day of school, I felt so scared, and worried. I knew that the 9th graders were probably going to bully me. Once we started going to our normal classes, it was time for second period, and my teachers name was Mrs. Trumbo. Everyday when I walk by her, or when its time for her to teach me, she always has a smile on her face.
Mrs. Trumbo is very unique. She knows how to play around, and how to teach well. When I met her, I thought she was going to be one mean teacher, but she proved me wrong, she is my best teacher actually! I love the way, how she always has a smile on her face! Every time I have a question or something to ask, she answers me with a nice strong answer. She is always saying I’m a good student and makes me feel good. In this school we use uniforms, but of course teachers don’t have to. I love the way that she dresses, she loves colors, and every time I see her nicely dressed it puts a smile on my face.
One day, we had Team day. Meaning as, the 7th graders separate into two teams. There are the Titans and the Champions. I’m on the Champions team. Both teams, we went to a field trip. I had to go with a different teacher, but I wanted to go with Mrs. Trumbo so bad. I asked her if I could be with her, she said yes. I was very happy, when she said that. When we were getting ready to leave, to the museum, we were watching some videos, about how in other countries there is racism and other kind of mean stuff. Literally the whole class started to cry, but we talked things with her, and that’s when I knew that she was the one teacher to trust, she told me not to ever worry about that, because she doesn’t believe in racism, because that is not even mean, that’s just not even respectful.
I think that she should get it, because she has helped me out a lot, and she has also proved to me many other things, that even my mom couldn’t prove me. I’m so glad that she has appeared in my life, because she has almost changed my life. Like at first I didn’t even care about my grades or anything like that, all I cared about was, getting home and hanging out with friends. I knew that that wasn’t the best, but I hated knowing I had homework, so I wouldn’t do it, because just thinking about it would get me mad. But now I realize that even grades are a big part of my life. Now all I do, when I get home is I start doing my homework and I do math the very first thing!?
