Mr. Williamson My Favorite Teacher
When I highlighted economics on my class sign-up sheet for the next school year my only thought was, at least this would be a beneficial class to take. I was pleasantly surprised once I started to get to know Mr. Williamson and his teaching style.
Like a bright light to a fly, he knows how to catch our attention. Mr. Williamson shares relative life stories daily which keeps our ears on their toes. We are always eager to hear about his experiences because he has a great sense of humor.
Mr. Williamson not only states information, he explains it. When he’s finished explaining he always says, “Does that make sense?”, to ensure that we all understand before he moves on. He looks for feedback from the class. Mr. Williamson is glad to listen to our opinions. Before each test he takes questions from us about things we may have forgotten from the unit.
Mr. Williamson is an extraordinary teacher who makes a seemingly bland subject interesting. He cares about his students’ thoughts and concerns and is always eager to listen. I’m glad I highlighted economics on this year’s class sign-up sheet.
