Educator of the year
The first day I walked in my creative writing classroom I knew it was going to be an exciting semester. Our teacher Ms. Jorgensen was full of excitement right away. I knew it was going to be an interesting and fun class, and that made me actually look forward to going. She does her job and teaches well, but at the same time she keeps us alert and awake because she’s so spontaneous. Even though learning isn’t fun, somehow during every class she made a point to make everyone laugh and keep everyone focused.
Mrs. Jorgensen is an all around great teacher. She has the personality all students would look for in a teacher. She’s honest and gives good advice about how to do our work. When we make mistakes, she’ll be there to help us fix them and improve. She’s passionate about what she does and I think that’s very important. I’m nominating her because she proved that she deserves to be educator of the year.
