Mr.Johnson

Right from the start I knew I was going to love this class, my journalism class. The fact that it’s a class where I have to write tremendously, I honestly thought it would be something I hated. His humorous, goal-oriented, and bright personality showed me that the class wouldn't be so bad.  My 9th grade journalism teacher, Mr.Johnson.
Journalism is a english class for seniors. Taking it my freshman year is hard but I know it will help me in a long run. I really wasn’t sure what to expect.  My gut was telling me, “ This is going to be too much work to handle.” I wasn’t confident in myself knowing that I get stressed out being a perfectionist.
Many times I felt like giving up, taking my grade as it is. We get deadlines and many, many assignments, and the need of organization. It’s very hard, but unlike any other class, we’re being prepared for the real word. Mr.Johnson knows just how to teach us what I feel we really need to know. He inspires me because it seems like he’s the only teach us things that we will need to know. I realize why he gives us deadlines. I realize why he gives us so much work. He recently helped us get a scholarship. I never had a teacher like this and I appreciate it greatly.
