Educator of the Year
The teacher I would like to nominate for EotY (Educator of the Year) is Michelle Knight. She works at The Newton School in Sterling, Virginia, and she teaches middle school Reading, Writing, and Science (although her favorites are science, followed by reading). I have her for reading, writing, and science, and she was my homeroom teacher for most of elementary school. (Ever since I started at the end of kindergarten.) She’s really nice and friendly, (if a bit harsh and loud when mad!) and loves teaching us. (Even when all 38 of us in all her classes (yes, there’s 38 of us in total, and counting) drive her up the wall daily!) She tries her best to make our classes interesting and fun, and succeeds in doing this often. Once she even let us watch a movie in class that went with the book we were reading! Overall, Michelle Knight is a really good teacher, and I love having her as one.
