Mrs. Seifred EOY 2018
Educator of the year nomination 2018
Mrs. Victoria Seifred
H.B. DuPont Middle School
I would like to nominate Mrs. Seifred as Educator of the Year. She is a teacher that is born to teach children America’s past event/history; she makes kids happy in class, and she always has a positive smile on her face. Mrs. Seifred was a great teacher when I had her at H.B. DuPont middle school. She would make people laugh and ask if a student needed help with a subject. She always brightened my; day even if I felt sad or happy, she would talk about the times when she was in high school and how fun school was. Mrs. Seifred was born in West Virginia; she went to Shepherd University and graduated with a degree in world history. She has a husband and kids who she is very proud of. She got her first job teaching at an elementary school and from there, she started teaching middle schoolers. She is proud of her job and ready to teach children America’s history. Mrs. Seifred has a lot of good spirit to make a lot of people happy. She makes kids and the faculty happy by coming up with jokes and sharing funny stories. She always has a smile on her face in the morning and throughout the day. When I ever felt sad or depressed, she would tell me stories about her past and how fun West Virginia was. I would sometimes ask her questions about her past and why she chose to be a teacher. Mrs. Seifred loves helping people with stuff they cannot handle. She would ask kids if they needed help with their schooling and what subject they are struggling in. She would ask them what subject they are struggling and how she could help them. She would ask me if I needed help with my work, and I would sometimes ask her for help, and I felt happy when she asked me if I needed help. She would also ask teachers if she needed to cover for them, or she would ask them if they needed anything. Mrs. Seifred has been a great role model for me; she was the best teacher I ever had. She showed me how to be happy and always ask if anyone or if I needed help. She has been my favorite teacher since I met her, and I believe Mrs. Seifred should be the Educator of the Year for 2018.
