Humans of Parsippany
“By the age of 14 I wanted to be a professional WNBA Player but in a more serious level of basketball. I changed in that area because I decided to start doing dance when I went to go see the hip-hop Nutcracker in New York City. I was like oh maybe I want to do that. Then, I started dancing. I’ve been doing dance for four years straight so it’s something I would want to take to a higher level. Sometimes, if I look in the mirror and watch myself and it doesn’t look the same as the teacher, then I feel like I am not good. After I initially feel like that, I’ll take a step away from everything and just breathe. My Mom always makes sure I shouldn’t feel that stressed out, to keep going. The harder you work the better your life will be later.” (Holmdel, New Jersey).
