Greek for blooming. Known as the ancient Greek goddess of the harvest. Now associated with a reality tv star from keeping up with the kardashians. With a sweet and spunky sound to it.  

The Sweet sound is like the ocean but spunky like a light in a dark room. Klo-ee. It moves like calm waves. It speaks in a whispering tone. Yet has the capability to be loud and clear. 

Originally I was never supposed to be Chloe. My mom loved Isabella. But ,both of my sisters have first names that begin with the letter C. My dad wanted each of his daughters to have their names start with a C. Not anything else. Resulting in Chloe. 

My childhood best friend since we were 2, Chloe as well. Even our middle names correlate to each other. Mine is Bella and hers is Isabella. We were inseparable as little kids.

My Chloe is older than me by a year. She has blonde hair and blue eyes. Freckles that cover her face. Also much taller than me. However, our personalities are almost identical. Adventure, Trying new things, and Having fun. 

She was my partner in crime. On a sunny summer day it was swimming in the pool or selling lemonade. Gymnastics as well. Getting together every single summer since we were 2. To me it was like having another sister.

Chloe is fresh. Whimsical like a feather floating through the sky. Feels like a soft breeze on a spring day. A personality that is laid back. Willing to go with the flow because no matter the situation it will always turn out fine. 

My nickname Chlo has a softer ring to it. Graceful. Easily rolling off of your tongue. Like something smooth has taken over your mouth. It is calm much like myself. Chlo is simple yet meaningful. Meaningful in which it is my favorite nickname to be called around friends and family. 

Chloe. I love it. The sweet and spunky sound fits my personality to a T. Maybe because I think of the spunkiness of me and my childhood best friend. Or the adventure seeking side of me. Even the sweetness of striving to make everyone around me happy. No matter what my name is Chloe and I wouldn't choose any other name.
