Kitty
It is amazing how one can become so attached to a pet-He first came around our house in July, 2007 looking for a loving owner. He was all orange with stripes covering most of his body. We did not have the heart to turn him down, so we took him in. At first I avoided him, thinking he might scratch me with his claws, but as I got more used to him, I started letting him sit on my lap and sleep in my bed. I realized he was very friendly and he just wanted to be around people. He’s now with me most of the day and is considered family. Even though he can’t communicate, I sometimes feel like he is my best friend. To me, he is the best cat in the world and I know he can never be replaced.
