The Tears of A Calico Cat
Some people stop to stare, but yet some stop and ask me "Why do you look so down all the time?" How can I tell them the truth when all I want to do is forget? Am I supposed to never forget? Why am I supposed to tell people my true being; what I am inside? I guess I'll always be the tears of a calico cat.
Everyday I change colors...From grey, to black, and white on a lucky day. Grey represents the days I cry, and black represents when I'm angry or just too hurt to care anymore. And the color white, I ask "why can't I always be that color?" But I guess I'll never be white in this lifetime. Under this coat of fur I'll always be the tears of a calico cat; nothing more and nothing less.
