Life.
Birth. Flung into the world like the Lion King, held high above my father’s head as he was chased by the nurses.
Childhood. Spent happily making worm house and watching sugary cartoons.
Middle school. Awkward and taller than all the boys, went to the dances with friends instead.
High school. Boys grew tall, friendships shifted, classes actually became hard. Became a vegetarian, found god, lost god, and switched religion.
Here. Two days into my senior year, it was fun, it was hard, and I never once though ‘what if.’ I’m here now, and there’s only one way to go.
Future.
