My New Year's Resolution

I wake up every morning with a headache, already stressed out over what the day will hold and what is going to happen. I tend to stress myself out a lot actually, especially when it comes to school. High school comes with so much stress that when it comes down to it I will start stressing about every little thing no matter what it is. I understand that for someone my age I should not  be stressing as much, but sometimes it gets to the point where I just want to give up and stop trying because I don't see anything good coming from it. The main things that I stress about are homework, sleep, and teenage drama, and I honestly don’t know why. My resolution for the New Year is to be stress free.

One step that I am going to take is the way I manage my homework. I am going to get a planner and write what assignments are due the following day and for what classes, so I can set a time aside just for homework. The next step that I am going to take will be managing my sleeping schedule. I am always stressed at school because I never get a decent amount of sleep the night before. I will change that by getting at least 8 hours of sleep per night, so that I am refreshed in the morning. The finally step that I am going to take is to stay away from drama from family and friends. Instead of continuing to put myself in drama I am going to cancel myself out of all and any drama, because I have learned that it is okay not to have friends and not talk to anyone. My whole way of living would be different if I was stress free. For instance, I would be a lot happier not have to worry about certain things anymore. I would be a more independent person because I would not have to dependent on a soul well with the exception of my family of course. Come January 1st, I will be living a stress free life because I have stressed myself out enough. I am in a point in my life where I can honestly say that being stressful all the time and continuing to worry about the little things is not for me no more. This is my New Year’s resolution for 2019.
