Dear Vietnam Veteran,

Falling off your bike, getting poor grades, getting tangled in high school drama, these are several experiences that people go through and that I've gone through. Not being greeted back must be the hardest of all. Coming home from an event that will permanently scar you and not being properly welcomed back is a harmful feeling. Your service has been a huge model of bravery, strength and astonishing work that the world should see as a sign of respect and thankfulness.

My name is Lucious B., I attend high school where I’m going to be on my own for the first time after graduation. My goal is to become a famous movie director to share my ideas and feelings with the world. Your service personally inspired me to never give up and to push myself to be brilliant.

I couldn't even imagine what you had gone through to get this far in life, but within those encounters, you’ve fought for us, protected us, risked your life for others. You as our hero. You are a marvelous person no matter what goes on in life and knowing that your fighting for the U.S., for the people, for me, I understand that I can achieve anything I desire in life.

Sincerely,

Lucious B.
