Gary Vanyerchuk
Gary Vaynerchuk is a man who shares his life with the world. Gary Vaynerchuk is also a person who inspired me in many ways. He made me realize that when spending time stressing on meaningless school assignments. I could instead be focusing on more important matters. Such as the time I didn’t do my math assignment but instead studied on a civics test because the civics test was a bigger problem. That is just one example of how Gary Vaynerchuk inspired me with his realism on everyday problems that he shares with the world. He is always achieving his goals and looking for opportunities while sharing his story.
The first reason Gary Vaynerchuk inspires me is because he set a realistic goal for himself at a young age. That goal was to become the owner of the NY Jets. This goal is not the most realistic one however, Gary is still trying to achieve it. Even while knowing what his goal was, he realized that school was not helping him achieve his goals. Gary had plans to revive his family’s failing wine company and use it to propel himself into entrepreneurship. If I was in Gary’s situation, I would have done the same but right now my education is still helping me and I don’t have a company to apply myself to. He is reaching his goal from very little money because Gary’s family had to move from Belarus to America, so they had very little when he was young.
A second reason Gary inspires me is his ability to make something from nothing. The Vaynerchuk wine company was an opportunity and Gary found it. The same way he had found so many others. Before he dropped out of high school he had a “business” when Gary was seven years old. His was he would buy and sell baseball, football, and hockey cards at a profit. It was a quick way for him to make some money. I like to mirror this by doing quick little supply and demand selling. If I have bought something and a friend wants to buy it from me, I always sell it at a profit big enough so I am happier with the money than the product. These are the kinds of opportunities that I was inspired to look for by Gary.
The final way that Gary inspires people is that he shares his journey for people that share his mindset so they can become successful like him. Gary shows people on social media how to “garage sale flip” which is where someone buys items at a garage sale that they think has a value greater than what it’s being shown for. After they buy it they resell it on eBay or a Craigslist type of site. This is something that I have done in real life although harder to do without a vehicle. This is just one example of things Gary shares about his life. He has practically shared his entire journey to learn from and to be inspired by.
Gary Vaynerchuk’s whole life being a search for opportunities and an inspirational journey all the way to owning the New York Jets. Gary Vaynerchuk has terrific qualities that I aspire to have. He searches for opportunities, has realistic goals, and has an inspirational lifestyle. With all this being said Gary is leading a successful journey that should be followed by all. Gary Vaynerchuk inspires me with his life. I hope he inspires everyone who has read this as well.
