Peace
I take a deep breath and let the wind blow my bones back together. The crash of the waves pushes me into swirling colors and day dreams. The painted sky twists me up in all of the pretty things. When I am here I feel the same thrill I get when I see the crystal blue sky on a chilly morning or when I am riding with the windows down and the music blaring. Everything feels so perfect and inspiring it almost feels fake.
And as i’m watching the sunset I realize i’ve been alone the whole day. For a second I think that maybe I should feel lonely, but instead I feel peace.
