Page up. Esc. Home. I look puzzled at my computer keyboard. I’m stuck staring at the white screen. No words come to mind. Words: 0. My chipped nail polish is all I can focus on. Looking at my limp hands on the keyboard displays my confusion.
A girl walks towards the printer. She’s done with her paper, but still…Words: 0. Distractions. The far left light is burnt out. The picture in front of me is on a slant. Brian Adam’s brown eyes judgmentally stare at my blank white screen.
“Five minutes left. Finish up and print!” I don’t have much time. There’s nothing to say. The screen looks whiter than fresh dew on a morning lawn. My palms slip of the keyboard from my perspiration.
I type my name. Words: 2.
