my journey
I was born in l’artibonite Haiti, my family was run out of our city by a dreadful flood. My earliest memory was being carried from my father’s dark thru water and darkness. After that my dad left us with no home along with food to come to this county. He faced many nights at sea, starved and alone with no knowledge of what he is heading into. I was raised entirely by my mother; she has made many sacrifices so our family can survived the fruitless and hopeless country of Haiti. Following, many years of working disgraceful jobs my dad had saved enough to get us asylums to live in this promise land. I love them both so much because if it wasn't for them I wouldn't be where I'm at.
