My family and friends
My life throughout the years has been influenced by my grandparents, extended family, friends, and most of all, my parents. I’ve lived with my parents for the 17 years that I have been here on earth. I see my grandparents and extended family two times a year, so they don’t have as much of an influence on my life.
I have learned when the phone rings and it is a solicitor, don’t answer the phone. All solicitors want to do is sell you something. My parents tell me to advocate what I believe in. They say if I am amicable to others, they in return will be amicable to me. They have taught me, when making a decision; whether it is over buying an item, school, or a job, you need to scrutinize every option there is.
My parents have told me and my brother not to be vexatious towards one another. We won’t have a secure relationship if all we are doing is fighting. My parents have told me throughout my life to do the right thing. They don’t want my life to end up being nefarious.
Most of all, my parents told me not to have a loath mind when working with someone. They may have different ways of doing things. You might find it that their way of doing something is 50% more efficient than your way of doing it.
Throughout the years of my parents influence on my life, I feel like it will help my life and choices in the future to be astute. I hope I can pass the advice and lessons my parents taught me to other people and my kids I have in the future.
