Dear Hand
Dear Hand,
You are such a big help. From the time we were little you were helping me to explore. I pumped blood to you and helped take your first steps. We both became tougher and grew wrinkles. I gained knowledge while you hardened your shell. We soon became old friends. Do you remember the time you got burned when you picked up that hot pan? Or the time we went fishing together and we caught that colossal fish? The one that still holds the record at Hansen’s pond. Remember when you used to hold that other hand? She was so soft and silky and your weathered lines protected her. Now look at us: we’ve been attached since birth. Thank you Hand, for everything.
With love,
Brain
