This Is Me
I hated looking in the mirror. It wasn't what I wanted to see. Glasses, braces, pimples, and worst of all, the hair. People are always jealous that I have naturally curly hair. Well I'm jealous of them because my hair is uncontrollable, knotty, and well, curly. After awhile I started to accept that I wasn't pretty. But when people tell you the opposite it is impossible. My mom and my sister fuss about it. I don't care. I don't get why MY hair bugs THEM. (Mostly my mom.) She's always trying to change it. She tells me i need to use products but come on, really? So when I look in the mirror and see what I see, I can't help but think 'Shut up. This is me.'
