Eyes Like an Ocean
I love watching tears form in my eyes. I know you might think that seems strange, but its true. I love watching them form like a deep sea of brown and green. Then when they are so deep and full they start flooding down, down, down my cheeks like a tsunami destroying everything in its path. Thats why when I get sad, I love crying because it makes me feel better watching the floods, the deep ocean, and the tsunami. People always ask me why I like doing this. They call me weird, strange, or different. But I’m okay with it. It makes me feel like I’m not alone, that someone else is crying with me, that someone else can feel the same pain I feel. We jump into the ocean of brown and green or for them maybe ice cold blue. We swim and swim and swim until the tsunami hits. Then we wade back to shore and separate until next time, until the next store of sadness.
