You will always be in my heart
I sit listening to the whimpering of people grieving over my grandmother, Mother-Enyess-Allen. I hear tributes, songs, and moving eulogy. I understand even more the value of her life—she gave. My grandmother treated me like a son. When the funeral home director closes the casket, my heart feels like an arrow pierced and shattered it to pieces. I smell her soft taste filling sweet potato pies from heaven.
