Things I Carry
Has there ever been a time where you just felt like you had this desire inside yourself, to continuously improve at what you love to do? If so, then you’re carrying passion with you everyday.
I carry passion, carrying this passion with you is a great thing when you improve at whatever it is you love to do it could be drawing, cooking or a sport. Passion like many other great things can also have its down sides. Passion is bad when you screw up and you get this raging anger inside, and it feels like you just let yourself down. Passion is a heavy thing to carry with you, because when you really get down to it you’ll get all or nothing, having this weight will either make you or break you.
You can tell someone has passion when they get knocked down and get right back up and try again, someone you has a passion for something will not let a mistake stop them from chasing the passion. You know when you have a passion, having a passion means that you are the one pushing yourself to improve, to get onto that varsity team and get that jacket or to get into the college of your dreams. With a passion you are your own biggest critic.
Passion is something you choose to carry on your own, no one can force you to love something, thats all up to you. You choose on your own terms whether you hate or love something. You make the final call.
I want you to Imagine yourself doing what you to do, and for the first time you have scored a touchdown, your first goal, or, made your first meal. This makes you feel alive, you’ll get this feeling that one goal wasn’t enough for your and you want more. That right there is your passion.
My passion is a weight that i wish to carry. Carrying a passion is something that will keep you going, while carrying a passion it demands that you will always improve, that you will become the best you can be. It demands getting knocked down over and over, until you get back up.
Without my passion I don’t know what kind of person I would be. Id probably be a fat little boy. Only you can define yourself.
