What matters to me the most? That's a great question. I would have to say graduating from high school is  what matter the most to me right now. Why? A handful of people  in my family did not finish school.  And I want to do my family proud and accomplish the goal I set for myself when I was in middle school.Another reason, I don't want to be another statistic .
Graduating from high school means a lot to me and my family because very few  people in my family finished school. My parents are always on my case about school, but I don't mind because I know they only do it out of love, care, and concern for my future. For me, graduating from shows my family I appreciate all of their sacrifices, hard work, preaching and speeches, because in the end it will all pay off. And it will prove that everything didn't go through one ear and out the other.
In middle school, I set a goal for myself, I promised myself that I would graduate and with honors. The honors part I am still working on because I'm sill in school. In school, graduation has been imperative . Making stupendous grades through out all the years I have been in school  is a necessity to me. I've always been labeled a teacher's pet or a good- to- shoe as a result of my desideratum for good grades.
Furthermore, another reason for graduating from high school is so important to me is because I do NOT want to be part of the embarrassing and disappointing high school dropout statistic. There's so many more things I can do than spend my precious time hanging out at  home watching TV . An education is the only way I'm going to make in life and without one I'm basically lost.
So, what matters to me the most is graduation. Graduating means a lot to me because only a handful of the people in my family graduated from high school. Making my family proud and accomplishing the goal I promised myself is also a reason for graduating. And another reason, I do not want to be another high school dropout statistic. These are the reason graduation matters most to me.
