Why I Write...
We all live in a world where no one really knows what “normal” is. We all want things we can’t have, but me, I would be okay if I could just write. This is why I write, I write for the thrill. I write knowing I can escape this idea of being “normal”. I write out of the passion I have for the topics. I write to make me happy. I write knowing I have something to fall back on later in life. I write as I think. I write with love for being a good writer. I write because I want to be published. I write because it takes away my stress. I write for new ideas. I write to become a better writer. I write because I love it. I write for opinions. I write to have an opinion. I write because I fall in love with the idea that it is not a “normal” teenage thing to do. I write for myself. I write because teenagers can relate to my concepts. I write for inspiration. I write to be an inspiration. I write for someone to be proud of me and my ideas. I write because I love it. I write for love. I write for success. I write as if it is my last day on earth. I write because I want to do something I love. I write because being “normal” is not an option. This idea of “normal” is stupid. I write because “normal” is boring and a waste of time.

I wrote this piece for my English class. It was hard to pick a subject and figure out what is something I love and want to go far with. Writing is my escape. It's almost like a drug to me. I can never get enough of it because it makes me happy.
