Benefits of Knowing Multiple Languages
Now I believe knowing more than one language or being able to read and write in another language is an excellent ability and should be used to the best of the individual's ability. Knowing two or more languages just puts you in a group of the highest educated individuals on this planet.
I personally can speak, read, and write in three different languages, English, Arabic, and French. I learned these languages from an early age and I kept speaking the languages from time to time. I know that knowing these languages will certainly help me in the future in getting one of the best jobs for me and that is why I continue to take these languages and hope to become fluent in them. I should thank my parents for this once in a lifetime opportunity for forcing and giving me the opportunity to learn these languages and putting me into classes where I can do so.
Being able to speak these languages is like a ticket to being successful in life and just puts you in a higher rank than most people in the world, but should I not abuse this power to do bad and ruin other individuals lives. The ability to speak more languages should be used with respect, with great power come great responsibility. So anyone who is able to learn and know more than one language should try and help others who are not financially able to do it themselves. Not only will this bring lots of blessings but will also make you known by everyone and honestly you can make a really good business if you are willing to make it your job.
Personally I can’t fluently speak the other two languages but I can read and write those languages. I might be able to have a meaningful conversation with someone who speaks Arabic but I would not say the same for French. I have a small problem, although I can speak Arabic I am also able to to speak the Moroccan Arabic which is very different in words and pronunciation, so I constantly get confused when speaking Arabic. So in my situation it is quite difficult to speak one certain Arabic.
Although I know I am blessed to know these languages, I plan on taking a risky career mainly because I am having issues with my dad, but the road I take will be my complete choice and it is certainly what I want to do. I know in my career I will not be using languages constantly but I will be known for something else. When I become the best at what I will be doing, I hope to teach individuals who are not able to learn Arabic, to learn Arabic. One last thing I learned just this is computer literacy, being able to read codes and make websites which is really interesting, sadly I will not be using this skill in my future life but that does not mean I should not teach it and help others use computers.
With the World’s population continuously growing and new communities being formed everyday, some individuals will continue being illiterate which is sad so I should be blessed to know what I know and should help others learn different languages.
