If I could be any animal for a day, I would no doubt be a grizzly bear. Like why wouldn’t you want to be a grizzly bear? They don’t even do anything. They’re pretty much clueless half the time. They just walk around in the woods, forage for berries and fish for salmon in streams. That sounds like the best life ever. The only problem is the likelihood that I would probably get shot and killed and mounted on some wall of a cabin with all the other racks and heads of the animals that the hunter has killed. This would be unpleasant. However, I think that laying around in the woods and rubbing against trees makes up for it. If I couldn’t be a bear than I would totally be a sloth. Sloths live a life not unlike mine. They sit in one spot for long periods of time and when they do move, they do it slowly. Even when they do leave their spot, it’s to either go find food or excrete waste. This is basically my entire life. The only difference being that sloths are better at climbing trees, move faster than I do, are known and loved globally, and have claws. This sounds nothing short of an upgrade to my already sloth-like life. I have no reason to not want to be a sloth, save the constant threat of being killed and eaten by various predators. However, I believe this is a fair tradeoff to live the life of a sloth. Lastly, if not a sloth or a bear I would be a Narwhal. Narwhals are literally water unicorns. Given the opportunity, I would be a unicorn but seeing that a narwhal is much more likely to exist, I feel that the narwhal is the better option. Narwhals are solitary animals that like to swim around at high speeds and impale things. Plus they don’t have any natural predators that I know of. So this sounds like my best bet, as being killed eaten is generally unpleasant.
