Stealing is a bad thing. It can get you in trouble. You may think stealing from your parents or friends is fine ,well it isn’t. It doesn't matter who you steal from it is the same thing if you stole from your parents or friends. You should think twice of what you do. This story is about me not thinking twice of what I did.

It all start when I was with my friend, Ariana, at lunch. Around the end of 4th grade, Ariana and I were sitting together at lunch and she tells me she got something new. I asked “what’s it”. She said that it was a necklace that she brought. The necklace was beautiful and it was pink with purple beads.

The next day, Ariana was wearing it and I thought how it looked on her and then I thought how it would look on me. During PE, I noticed she wasn’t wearing it and then I saw it on the floor. She drop it and didn’t noticed. I decide I should try it on. It was very pretty that I decide she wouldn’t notice if I took for a day.

After that day I never gave it back and I never wore it when I was with her. She noticed she lost it but she thought it would probably be in her room. She never looked for it till one day. She cleaned her room and she couldn’t find it, so she said that she may have drop it when she walking to class. She went to the lost and found but it wasn’t there. She was freaking out. I felt so bad.

I was about to tell her but the bell ring. The next day, I bought the necklace. I gave it to Ariana and she hugged me saying Thank You! and then asked me where did I find it. I told her I found it during PE. She was confused till she saw my face. It was like she read my face and like my face was telling her I took it. She said to me why. I said because my family can’t afford nice things like that and I was going to give it back. She stared at me for a while I thought she was going to be mad at me and we weren’t going to be friends anymore. Till she took out a necklace exactly the same except it says Lily. At that moment, I realized it was a friendship necklace. She said to me we were friends since we were little and nothing can ruined that. Also I realized I could of asked her for it instead of taking it without her knowing.

After that, I never stole anything from my friends. But sometimes it hurts to see other people with nice things and you with nothing and that is my story what is yours. After you read my story, I hope you think twice of what you do.
